The candidate undergoing any course under any institution of World Association of Integrated Medicine (WAIM) will be thoroughly examined and evaluated in theory, project /article clinical practical and viva-voce of the respective course/specialty. The theory examination is conducted online with multiple choices of questions and practical examination is offline:

1.01. FOR MEDICAL COURSES:

The examination for Postgraduate Diploma and Advanced Diploma is conducted under three Parts.

I. Theory.

II. Article / Project.

III. Practical and Viva-voce

I. Theory: For all institutes (Integrated Medicine, Traditional Medicine, Alternative Medicine and Holistic Medicine), the curriculum is divided in four major Sections.

i. Basic Principles Medicine.
ii. Diagnostic Principles Medicine.
iii. Therapeutic Principles Medicine.
iv. Applied Aspect of Medicine

There will be one theory paper of two hours duration having 100 multiple choice of questions (20 Questions from each Section Plus 20 over lapping questions from either Section) based on the Curriculum. Theory carries 40 Credits.

II. Article / Project: The candidate is advised to write an article or prepare a project with definite guidelines after the admission. The length of the article should not more than 30 pages and the project should not exceed more than 50 pages. This project carries 20 Credits.

III. Practical and Viva-voce: Each candidate is properly evaluated on patients along with general and specific viva voce. The practical carries 40 Credits.

1.02. FOR MEDICO TECHNICAL COURSES:

The examination for Medico - technical courses is conducted under two sections.

I. Theory.

II. Practical and Viva-voce

I. Theory:  The theoretical aspect of all Medico technical courses is comprised of four major Sections.

i. Basic Health Sciences.
ii. Fundamental of Laboratory.
iii. Integrated Laboratory Techniques.
iv. Applied Laboratory Technology.

There will be one theory paper of two hours duration having 100 multiple choice of questions (20 Questions from each Section Plus over lapping questions from either Section) based on the Course curriculum.

II. Practical and Viva-voce: Each candidate is properly evaluated on samples along with general viva voce.

1.03. GRADING SHEETS (MARKSHEET):

In order to declare successful, the candidate must pass separately in theory, project / article, practical and via-voce. There is Credit System. Based on the credits Grade is awarded. The detail is mentioned as under.

1.04. AWARD OF CERTIFICATE:

The successful candidate will be awarded the Certificate / Diploma in specialty. All Certificates / Diploma will be awarded by World Association of Integrated Medicine its seal. The candidate can suffix the awarded certificate with their name. The candidates are strictly advised to mention the specialty and name of the institute with designated certificate as Integrated Medicine (IM), Traditional Medicine (TM), Alternative Medicine (AM), Holistic Medicine (HM) with their awarded certificate so that the patients/attendants should not get confused or misguided for the rendered services.

1.05. AWARD OF CERTIFICATE:

All the successful candidates are advised to seek the registration of their certificates and Diploma with International Medicine Council (IIMC) in order to maintain their regularity and records in synchronicity with WAIM. The registration is mandatory to all successful candidates.
